Howdy, I’m Sara!

I’m so glad you’re here.

As a therapist, I work with and welcome an array of human experiences, ages, and identities. Some of my strengths include helping young adults and teens who grapple with anxiety, low self esteem, body image distress, and perfectionism, and the ways in which those experiences can isolate us from each other, our environments, and ourselves. I particularly love helping my clients navigate life transitions and explore questions around life meaning, purpose, and identity. I like to let my clients take the lead, following along on their healing journey, offering my curiosity, sense of humor, and thoughtfulness to help them find their way. Therapy with me can look like talking, making art, exploring dreams, getting outside, and/or playing games.

As a human, I love to recharge by being alone. I go hiking every week, I love to read (mostly fiction- I love immersing myself in a good story), and I make quirky ceramics. I moved to Denver in 2020 from Virginia, and though I love the sunshine and the Rocky Mountains, part of my heart will always be in the Shenandoah and with the rich blue and green hues of the woods back east. I have a tabby cat who came to me as a stray- caring for and companioning him has been one of the most fulfilling experiences.
